Wyoming Department of Health COVID-19 Health Disparities - Infrastructure
$116,915
Facilities upgrades and improvements at the FLV Ft. Sanders Building, including a full commercial hood and range system, dishwasher, and accompanying ventilation system. This will increase our program capacities and ability to support and engage with the community through classes, events, and access to kitchen use for entrepreneurs. Also includes renovations to the Mobile Market bus and retrofits to one of the Feeding Laramie Valley modular buildings for food storage and preparation to expand healthy food access in new locations.

Wyoming Department of Health COVID-19 Health Disparities - Basic Needs

Emergency boost to the Shares program, which has seen a massive increase in the number of participants—now over 750 unduplicated individuals each week, with 100 additional people signing up each month. The grant funds additional fresh fruits, vegetables, and supplies like bags and gas for our delivery van, which takes weekly servings of produce to those with health and mobility challenges.

UW INBRE award supported by grants from the National Center for Research Resources (5P20RR016474-12) and the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (8 P20 GM 103432-12) from the National Institutes of Health.
Gardens for Health and Healing, a community-based research project to bring home gardens to households in Albany County and to design and test the best ways to measure any impacts of those gardens on the health of individuals living with multiple chronic health conditions. In partnership with University of Wyoming, 2016-2018.
