WAYS TO GIVE

The need is greater than ever

Thousands of people living in our community do not have sufficient access to sufficient food, or food of an adequate quality, to meet their basic needs. After a decade in decline, the rate of food insecurity in Albany County has jumped from 11.1% to 15.3% in a single year.

With the staggering rise in costs of living, and especially of fresh produce, donations of all sizes are needed now more than ever to support our mission of sustainable local food security. Consider these financial support options that will help us not only ensure that all members of our community can be fed with the best of what we have, but will help us continue to grow into the years to come to transform our food system using sustainable sources of healthy, Wyoming-produced foods that are accessible to everyone.

Feeding Laramie Valley is a program of Action Resources International, LLC, a 501(c)s nonprofit organization dedicated to community activism that promotes safety and prevention of violence; social and economic justice; sustainable food security and sovereignty; and access to overall health and wellness for everyone. Donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you for making Wyoming a healthier place!

Food Insecurity Is on the Rise, Especially in Wyoming

Food insecurity is about more than just hunger. Concern about where a next meal is coming from affects children's ability to learn, job performance, and psychological well-being.
