FREE to-go meals and activities all summer long!

June - August, Monday - Friday, pick-up at the building from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

$1.50 suggested donation for adults accompanying children.

Summer is a critical time for children’s academic and physical well-being. During the summer children are at a higher risk of both obesity and hunger. Summer Lunch programs provide free summer meals for kids and can become an important source of nutritious food for children and youth during this time. Offering free, nutritious meals also provides an incentive for children to participate in summer enrichment programs, which means that children are not only well-fed, but in a safe environment engaged in academic and recreational activities. Menu and activities are planned and led by coordinator, Sandy Moody, a team of AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associates, Foster Grandparents and dedicated volunteers.

  • Adults may join in the fun too for a suggested donation of $1.50.

  • Everyone is welcome and no RSVP is necessary!

  • Lunch is served between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and includes a daily activity at 12:30 p.m.

  • To-go activities include arts and crafts and gardening.
