Feeding Laramie Valley is a cooperative effort between many local, regional, and national partners working together toward food security and food sovereignty.

Local Partners

This multigenerational beef ranch in Laramie is a partner provider for the Satanka Food and Community Innovation Hub.

ACRES is a community-oriented, volunteer-run, student-led, farm operated through the University of Wyoming, with an emphasis on sustainable practices and education.

Albany County Fairgrounds hosts the half-acre FLV Farm in Laramie.

Albany County Public Library has hosted the Mobile Market in Centennial, provides books for our free library and events, and support through the seed library.

Big Hollow Food Co-Op in Laramie has partnered with FLV to provide fresh, regional, high-quality produce for the Shares program.

C&A is a supplier of quality pet and livestock feeds and supplies in Laramie, Wyoming with a strong record of community support.

Cent$ible Nutrition operates Wyoming’s SNAP-Ed and EFNEP Programs. They are a cooking and nutrition program that serves families and individuals in Wyoming.

Climb Wyoming assists women, and especially single mothers, with access to greater career and other opportunities

High-quality, affordable, and friendly accommodations in Laramie, Wyoming

Providing high-quality integrated healthcare to uninsured individuals experiencing poverty.

FLV holds a booth every Friday during the summer at the Downtown Laramie Farmers Market, where we collect fresh produce for the Shares program.

Elway Powersports is a proud supporter, hosting several fundraisers each year benefitting Feeding Laramie Valley programs.

FLV has partnered with the Eppson Center on numerous events and programs, including one of FLV's first, a gardening workshop.

Wyoming Food for Thought Project is a local grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to creating systems that enable all members of our community to access good, healthy, affordable food year-round.

The Growing Resilience project brought together the University of Wyoming, Wind River Development Fund, Blue Mountain Associates, and others, to increase home gardening on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

A project of the Albany County Public Library to save and distribute seeds for the community

FLV coordinates the Higher Ground Fair, an annual celebration of the best of the Rocky Mountain Region.

The hospital’s Mountain View Cafe is a partner in the Satanka Food and Community Innovation Hub, serving foods from local providers.

The Laramie Garden Club is an invaluable resource for consultations and making use of their educational materials, which are a gold standard for growing in Albany County.

Laramie Interfaith was an early partner in the Shares program, and FLV continues to share surplus foods we receive, as well as collaborate on local projects and events.

FLV has partnered with LRCD on many projects around Laramie, including the development and management of community gardens.

A founding entity at the inception of FLV, the residents at Laramie Senior Housing, now Laramie Square Apartments, guided the shape and direction of FLV, especially the Shares program.

Laramie Soup Kitchen was an early partner in the Shares program, and FLV continues to share surplus produce as available.

The Old Corral Hotel and Steakhouse hosts the Mobile Market in Centennial throughout the summer.

Sheila Bird Farms, a local organic farm in Laramie, donates produce to our Shares Program and is a partner in the Satanka Food and Community Innovation Hub.

National Partners

FLV is a managing site for Americorps programs across Wyoming, including NCCC, VISTA, and Foster Grandparents.

Dig Deep Farms was a collaborating organization in the 5-year Food Dignity Project.

East New York Farms (ENY) was a collaborating organization on the 5-year Food Dignity Project.

FLV is a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Action Resources International, which empowers community with resources for food security, safety, justice, and equity.
