GROW A ROW
What Is Grow a Row?
Through this program, you can help bring fresh and healthy produce to households in Albany County living with food insecurity. Bring home-grown produce to Feeding Laramie Valley, and we will distribute any produce through our Shares Program or serve it in the Kids Out to Lunch Program.
Getting started is simple!
1. Grow fruits and vegetables in your garden throughout the season. We welcome all fresh produce, however, if you are still planning your garden, we are especially interested in:
2. Harvest your produce and drop it off:
-
At our building any time, year-round, using our drop-off curbside cooler at 968 N. 9th St. in Laramie OR
-
Fridays at the Feeding Laramie Valley booth at the Downtown Laramie Farmer’s Market during summer months.
3. Sign up or ask questions by stopping at our office or emailing us at growingfood@feedinglaramievalley.org
That's it! No paperwork, no hassle! Just bring produce you'd like to share when it's ready!
Beginning Gardeners Welcome!
We'd love to help! We have many resources to help both beginning and seasoned gardeners make the most of their growing seasons, especially at high altitude and in challenging growing conditions (short season, poor soil)! Please see the resources below or feel free to reach out to our staff at 307.223.4399 or info@feedinglaramievalley with any questions.
