A family that lives nearby to Labonte Park and the Feeding Laramie Valley headquarters has graciously donated their 2001 Toyota Tundra. Having a second truck will allow staff to deliver more fresh food to more people in the community, and to mentor more gardeners than ever, in Albany County, Wyoming! We are so grateful for support from our community members in efforts to build a food secure, just and equitable food system here in Laramie and beyond.
The transfer of title and receipt of proper documentation was finalized in the days before the Higher Ground Fair, and how lucky we were to have this truck just in time for our big event! Since then, we have been toting around produce shares and garden tools on a weekly basis and are loving the vast amount of space we now have with our Tundra.
While we are happy that the new truck is shiny and white, we love to brag about our amazing supporters in this community. What exactly does this mean? We want your names and businesses on the truck loud and proud!

This holiday season, consider a donation to Feeding Laramie Valley. Your donation will support this winters' produce shares program and help us plan for next summer's programs by purchasing seeds, irrigation systems, lumber for raised beds and garden fences, and contributing to the Kids Out to Lunch free summer meal program.
