Earlier this summer as garden beds were being built, seeds were being planted in the ground and early-season produce was being harvested, Feeding Laramie Valley was finalizing plans to purchase a 1973 school bus. Our humble bus was on display at this year's Higher Ground Fair. With the purchase of a new engine the bus is running smoothly and almost ready for business!

Plans are underway to transform this school bus into a mobile food-distribution site with the single hope of bringing fresh and locally grown food deeper throughout Southeast Wyoming.

Do you have an idea for the use of our school bus, new places to distribute fresh produce, local organizations to partner with, or an idea for the exterior design of the bus? Let us know! We have created a quick survey where you can provide your input and creative ideas. Follow this link to become a part of the movement that will expand the impact of locally grown, healthy foods throughout this community and beyond.

Stay tuned for updates!
